DELHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM 2020

 

ENTRANCE BASED ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

 Selection/ Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared based on the marks secured in the written entrance test.

 DU JAT 2020 ENTRANCE EXAM                                                                              65%

12TH CLASS OR ANY OTHER THE QUALIFYING EXAM                                        35%                   

 The written entrance test, of two hours duration will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) (four choices each) designed to evaluate the aptitude of the applicants through areas as relevant to each subject

There will be 100 questions. Each correct answer will get a score of plus 4 marks, each wrong answer will get a score of minus 1 mark and a question not answered will get a score of zero marks.

For admission to Music courses, the entrance test will be of a practical nature.

IMPORTANT POINTS

The applicant is requested to bring a hard copy of his to admit card to the examination center. 

The applicant is requested to bring some of his identity proof such as Voter ID card, Aadhar card, PAN card to the examination center.

It is necessary to have a photograph of him in identity proof.

The applicant is requested to bring his identity proof with him, a copy of which he had attached with the online registration form.

๐Ÿ‘‰ An aggregate of 45% or more marks in the qualifying examination, with one language from List A and the three best subjects. Physical Education to be treated at par with List B subjects for “Best Four” calculations for admission to this course.

 ๐Ÿ‘‰Selection/Admission will be based on the combined a weighted average of percentage scored in the Entrance Test and Sports proficiency where the weightage is: Entrance test 50% Sports Proficiency Award 50%

 ๐Ÿ‘‰The applicants will be required to upload the following documents:

Medical Certificate from Government Hospital/ Primary Health Centre  Highest Sports Achievement Certificate along with supporting certificate ◦Self-Declaration Certificate: hereby affirm that I am not suffering from any deformity/disability. I understand that in case, during the medical examination conducted by the institute’s or any other registered medical doctor is found to be false my admission is liable to be canceled”.

๐Ÿ‘‰ An aggregate of 60% or more marks in four subjects in the qualifying examination. • Selection/ Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared based on the marks secured in the entrance test. • The The entrance test will be based on General Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Communication skills (English/ Hindi), Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability at 10+2 levels. Questions will be asked both in English and Hindi.

 The Best Four subjects may include One subject from English/Hindi (core or elective) and three other subjects from the following: any one language (offered by CBSE or its equivalent board at 10+2 level);

 ๐Ÿ‘‰Not more than two languages (whether core or elective) will be considered for the purpose of eligibility for “Best Four” subjects together. For the purpose of eligibility not more than two subjects will be considered from the following: Commerce, Business Studies, Accountancy, Informatics Practice, and Computer Application. •

 

NOTE FOR (B.El.Ed.) –

 Besides, the applicant must have studied and passed English/ Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science till class Xth • Selection/Admission will be done according to the merit list prepared based on the marks secured in the Entrance Test. • The The entrance test shall consist of 40 questions in English and Hindi, and 20 questions each in Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. The Entrance Test shall be bilingual (English and Hindi) wherever applicable. There will be no descriptive questions. Questions will be from English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science till class Xth from NCERT Textbooks.
